(ENG)Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and spent some early years in Spain, where he resigned in part to a school. Later he attended the University of London and the University of Cambridge. At the age of twenty-nine years, he experienced claims to a sudden and radical spiritual awakening.
This is often called "enlightenment" called disengagement from the identification with the personality of Eckhart Tolle in his first book, "Now! The Power of Now "section. Since he was no ties to a denomination or a teacher, he took me years to integrate the experience in his everyday life.
Later Tolle began to work with individuals and small groups as a spiritual counselor and teacher. He has published four books. The first, which was also number one on the bestseller list of the New York Times, was translated into over 30 languages. In his books, used great pictures and statements from various mystical traditions such as Christian mysticism, Sufism and Buddhism to describe its proposed path to inner freedom.
